Flat screen TVs are everywhere, a persistent reminder of modern life. Beautiful pieces of industrial design in their own right, their strong presence can overwhelm the spaces we inhabit.  Existing coping strategies can be overkill or simply make the problem worse - mill work is a major commitment to a static fix; while TV lift cabinets struggle to find a pleasing form and graceful operation.  A  perceptive interior designer put it best when she said; "Furniture design just hasn't caught up with the technology."

...until now

From the outset we were determined to develop a design solution with true integrity of form, dynamic grace, precise functionality and exquisite materials. An organic whole that is far more than the sum of its parts,  a new category called a screencase.

 

FORM

Rigid but light-weight, the precise steel-tube structure provides the strength and geometry necessary for smooth action. Left  exposed, this striking framework resonates with the spare aesthetic of the screen creating context and enabling screen and case to work together in harmony, both physically and visually.

 

GRACE

The choreographed motion of our retracting hatch and rising deck, the complete absence of top hamper and the clean resolution of all moving elements open or closed instill a sense of graceful poise.

 

FUNCTION

From our sophisticated silent movements to built-in wire management, from sound attenuating linings to strategically placed vibration dampers, every aspect of our design has been carefully thought through to ensure maximum performance.

 

MATERIALS / FINISHES

While the concept is new our experience working with fine materials is decades deep.  From rare woods and supple leather to hand-finished metals and exotic synthetics, we have a profound appreciation for the visual and tactile properties of a vast range of materials.  And we have the skills to bring out their best.  The essence of the materials you choose will resonate with the sleek shape of your screencase creating a stunning addition that can go anywhere.
