AiRK

our story

30 years ago Jim Arthur; a young man fascinated by both design and problem-solving and with a passion for workmanship; started an architectural woodworking operation he called

Arthur Works.

In the ensuing 3 decades, working with his highly skilled team, Arthur created furniture and mill work for discerning clients worldwide. Projects have ranged from austere exhibition cases for the V & A Museum in London to a state-of-the-art gilded private cinema in Phnom Penh;  from rooms of historicist mill work in Pennsylvania to lithe dining chairs in Austin.

A common thread through this diverse body of work is a commitment to design excellence, first class materials and masterful workmanship proudly symbolized by the Arthur Works maker's mark:

Today that same passion and attention to detail has been directed at the singular problem of where; and how;  to house the Flat Screen TV.   After over four years of development  the AiRK screencase finally brings a turnkey solution in the form of an exceptionally elegant piece of furniture ready to change how you watch TV, and how you live with your flat screen when you aren't watching it.
